These plans dates back to the creation of the Student Participation Without Borders (STUPS) project, a European project formed by a consortium of five entities, led by the University of Huelva (UHU), and with the participation of the University of Évora (UÉ), the University of Applied Sciences of Upper Austria (FH OÖ), the European Students’ Union (ESU) and the Directorate for Accreditation and Evaluation of the Agency Andalusian Society of Knowledge (DEVA-AAC). This ambitious collaboration project aims to find creative ways to promote student participation as a driver of democratisation, equality, and inclusion in higher education institutions.

Among the various outcomes expected over the course of the project’s 32 months, the last one is the development of three comprehensive plans to promote participation, one for each of the consortium’s universities. This outcome serves to crystallise STUPS’s advances, allowing them to permeate vertically and horizontally across the partnership and project the impact of their contributions in space and time.
